I thought cultural appropriation was bad?

It is. It is very, very bad. But it works like “racism”. Just as it is impossible for a “protected class” to be racist, sexist, homophobic, or whatever -ist you care to mention, it is impossible for them to appropriate Western European culture. A black actress playing a queen of France is daring, progressive, and admirable, a white woman cooking Mexican food at her restaurant is racist cultural appropriation.

What a fkn joke. Google has really become a POS - sunk so far so fast. Not just politically, but functionally as well.

At one time, if you Googled a news topic, you got all kinds of perspectives, including mainstream. Now it's all establishment, fake-news and left-wing rags that are going out off business..because they suck.

Also, when I would Google a band, organization or a person, the first listing would be the website for that band, organization or website. Nowadays, I get whatever Google wants me to see, ads or a bunch of other BS - but not the website unless I scroll.
