I’d prefer to have my .357 magnum and leave my Golden Retriever at home.
I read a book written by one of the first Europeans in Montana.
He was with a group of people and one dog.
The dog was named something like “Squee Squee”.
The dog’s favorite pastime was to go out and rile up a grizzly bear.
He would then lead the bear through the camp.
The journal had several entries like this:
“That damn Squee Squee went out and brought another grizzly to run through our camp. The dog and bear went through the camp several times and I swear that dog was smiling as he went by.”
