Trump cancels his vacation, stays in Washington, does everything he can to try to fix the problem. In a sane world, the Democrats would have stepped in it big time here.

The attention span of the American voter for an incident is no more than 6 weeks, the elections are well over a year away so what is said and done now wont's be a factor.

(An exception to the 6 week rule was 9-11 where the attention span lasted for almost 3 years.) - Tom
