I don’t think we will still be shutdown in 2020. Not being reported in the national news is the large amount of tax revenue areas with large numbers of Gov’t workers are losing. Maryland is losing like 2 million a week, much of it not coming back.

RATs love to spend money, and at some point I have to believe they will come to the table.

Also, when the local restaurant and hotel complains they are losing revenue, they aren’t calling the WH, they are calling Representatives.

Pelosi said her return was a return to functional Government. Trump is going to make that very difficult for her.

You’re right, they can’t, and even they know it. But they do not care about the border, the only care about getting Trump.

So they will force him to use that emergency declaration, and then impeach him for “thwarting the will of Congress”. They’ll claim it is a “high crime and misdemeanor” and pull the trigger.
