I recall having a conversation with my mother. You know, the type that a young mother has after she’s got boys and has a lot of questions about the future?
My mom explained the importance of MOTHERS teaching restraint to their boys because other Mothers continue to live out their teenager years through their daughters. I was really confused.
“You cannot give something away, if there is no one willing to take it. You have to teach your sons the importance of knowing what is important in the long term and what to avoid in the short term.”
That brought back a bittersweet memory. When I was younger, I had a very large emotional attachment to a young boy I knew. The night before my family was leaving, I was at his house and his parents were gone. You might think you know what’s coming. You’d be wrong. He did not want to be sexually active with me. “It’s not the right time,” was his answer to my look and question. I as crushed, rejected, and very confused. I knew he was a normal boy and really liked me. This was in what....or 73 or 74...
Only after what my mom told me did I begin to understand his actions. My mom, had taught me all the right/correct things, including how important it was to save myself for marriage. That said, the emotional edge had really kicked in during my teenage years.
West women have been taught over the decades that being beautiful, sexy, open for adventure, and controlling of their own bodies is all one package. It’s not. It’s all a Satanic lie, to disrupt the natural design by the Lord God for His people. Western Women think differently than others so Satan uses different guises to woe them to stay on his side of Darkness. Advertisers use this as a way to get monies, so do Divorce Lawyers, Sales folks, you name it, anyone group can use it.
Satan uses the tools that are best for each battle according to the weakness of the enemy. In the West, it’s the law and the inability of men to wisely train the younger men and boys of thinking long term. And in that way, he encourages the usage of the wiles of the feminine side to control/attempt to destroy God’s people. He will lose, he is aware of it...meanwhile the chaos is caused by both genders toward the other gender.
Women, from Eve on down have used their wiles for good and bad. Men from Cain on down have used brute force for good and bad. I do not mention Cain, as he was really at a loss being the first male to deal with a woman’s wiles. His issue was not accepting the responsibility that he took the bite out of the fruit and then he tried to blame both the Lord God and the woman. Not a good move. Doesn’t excuse either of them: Adam or Eve, nor Male and Female.
Men naturally want to look at beautiful women. It’s the genetic makeup of the design. Procreation. Men are visually driven and women are emotionally driven. Many, not all, women are happy with rich men. Want to know why there are so many divorces among the rich? Women want to be emotionally in-love. They’ll happily take the money on the way out the door, yes... Men want the beautiful because it’s natural for the Alpha to get what is viewed by the world as the best. It’s most likely not The Best, yet they don’t know that, despite their wealth.
Cleavage, short shorts, mini-skirts, high, tight boots, etc aren’t considered sexual harassment because a man is not forced to look at it. It may be very hard indeed to turn the head away, I’ll grant you that. It is not, however, something that is forced upon the average male.
A man doesn’t have to date a buxom woman, he is not usually forced to look longingly at a naked woman. He’s choosing to do those acts. He’s not tied down to a stake and make to contemplate having sex with a sexy, hot to trot woman or late teenager. The normal male can turn his mind to other things: He is not an animal. (The males that go for young males or females are depraved already and are not part of this discussion.)
If he’s working with someone who is chasing him, he can and ought to go to HR. Make sure he’s never alone, or out of sight with a woman. If he’s working under a woman whose chasing him, go to HR. Heck, quit the job, file a lawsuit. Do all the legal things open to him. The men I’ve worked with are fully aware of my belief that they are every bit entitled to being respected and that means in all ways.
I’m fairly sure even if I could sit on a civil or criminal jury there isn’t a prosecutor or defense attorney who would want me; I really think both sexes are capable of evil things and wouldn’t hold back on the thought process. Wouldn’t rely on emotions....
Sorry for the rant.
I can still recall what I wore that evening, and the look of sorrow on his face as he turned me down... Odd what will stay in our minds over the decades, yes?
Try this raspberry ice cream recipe -- delicious, super easy and no special equipment needed.
Raspberry Ice Cream
Ingredients 2 cup heavy cream 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk 8 oz can Solo Raspberry Filling tsp vanilla extract
PREP Freezer a large mixing bowl approximately 5 minutes.
METHOD In separate bowl, add sweetened condensed milk, Solo Raspberry Filling, vanilla. Whisk / evenly blend. Remove 2nd bowl from freezer, Elec/mixer heavy cream, (using a whisk attachment) until soft peaks form---4-5 minutes. FINAL Gently fold raspberry mixture into the cream mixture. til the color and texture are consistent throughout. Pour into square cake pan lined with parchment paper; place a second piece of parchment paper on top. Freezer overnight.
SERVE in footed sherbert glasses garnished w/ fresh berries.
