Judges, Chapter 4 & 5.

Deborah was a Prophetess and in that capacity she was Judging Israel. You’ll note, Deborah did not reject men; she was married to Lapidoth. She wasn’t rejected men, she was advising under the knowledge of the Lord God.

When Barak the son of Abinoam kept second guessing the instructions of the Lord God she was letting him know that while the battle would be won as promised by the Lord God, Barak would not be able to claim the glory of singling destroying the opponent, that the Lord God would allow a woman to kill the opponent.

Prophetess/Judge Deborah did not reject man or man’s rule. She was fulfilling her responsibility as a directed by the Lord God. There was no doubt of the Lord God in her actions, nor was there any rejection of the Lord God.
