The real fraud and hoax here isn't Boghossian, but rather the so-called "scholars" whom are so effectively parodied in what he wrote.

One of Boghossian's funniest satirical efforts was a proposal to create an academic field called "Grievance Studies" - encompassing any and all groups of people who have a political axe to grind based on their race, ethnicity, religion, sex, or sexual behavior. Needless to say, it didn't go over well with colleagues of his who make a living off what are effectively "grievance studies" under another name.
