UK govt in crisis as PM May fails to deliver on a plausible plan for Brexit.

Will govt fall? WIll UK finally get out of EU or will their Deep State zombie bureaucrats manage to sabotage the whole thing?

Crushing defeat.

Either the Yurps get real and start offering reasonable trade terms or just go hard Brexit.

BBC’s typo, “defeated” not “defected” lol

I think the writer was thinking about how many Tory MPs “defected” from support of May to voting against her plan.

The best deal is NO DEAL. The EU claims Britain owes it billions of Euros. To paraphrase J. Paul Getty, if you owe the EU a hundred Euros, that’s your problem. If you owe the EU tens of billions, that’s the EUs problem.

That is a historically huge loss... virtually without precedent iirc...

another referendum would unmask the higher-ups as hypocrites. it would be insanity to propose another referendum. the only thing all this has proved is that the EU is continuing to recalcitrant to the intentions of the UK people and against the well being of the UK people.

will the government insist on holding another referendum, simply because of EU malfeasance??

I have been holding off on placing an order from the UK this week hoping to exploit some currency volatility but so far the Pound Sterling is holding steady.
