May suffered defections both from hard core remainder Tories and hard-core leaver Tories for different reasons. NO ONE likes the deal (other than the EU itself which imposed it).
May sucks but she tried to follow the result of the referendum. She may not deserve praise and she should step down but she doesn’t deserve the “Paul Ryan” everything is her fault treatment.
Hard core remainder scum in the Conservative party are more deserving of our ire, them as this pond scum Speaker who is about as impartial as a Russian judge at the Olympics. I probably would have voted for the deal cause the alternative of uncertainty sounds worse.
I don’t know what will happen or what the best solution is. Go ahead with Hard Brexit? As I understand that will happen automatically if they do nothing. Frankly Parliament shouldn’t have gotten a vote on the deal.
If there is a 2nd referendum remain would win.
I'm no Paul Ryan fan, but between him and May, she is significantly to his left. I don't recall Paul Ryan ever making a national address to heap praise on a Muslim holiday and say how enriched America is by its Muslim community, or express dismay and outrage that an american protectorate won't pass gay marriage, as "Conservative" Theresa May does. Replacing May with a British version of Paul Ryan (probably that goofball CINO Boris Johnson is a good example) would actually be an upgrade in this case.
