Isn’t Heinz owned by John Kerry’s wife?

And only in D.C. as if there are not federal employees in every state of the union who have been declared essential, (and thus can not get a civilian job to hold them over), or those declared non-essentials who can get a civilian job to hold them over. Purely a PR move.

Kraft, during 2016-2018, laid off over 5,150 employees. https://www.chicagotribune.com/business/ct-kraft-heinz-layoffs-0324-biz-20170323-story.html Did they offer free food to those folks while trying to locate a new job?

Maybe that’s the intent.

Could they be fishing and trying to reel in a riot or two?

Never in a million years would I have thought I would see soup kitchens for federal workers.

Wow, such showy displays of largesse. I don’t recall anything even remotely similar while the private sector was being decimated again and again and again over the past 25 years.

Why does Kraft hate us? /SJW logic

These government workers make 1.5 to 2.0 times what their private sector counterparts make. They knew a shut-down was on the table. I plan ahead in my household. Why didn’t they?

We’re two weeks into this shutdown, and it sounds as if all these people are losing their homes and starving.

If they’re that dumb, good!

Now several entities are loaning them interest free money or helping find them food as if they are homeless or something.

What a load of manure...

Hey! It’s FUNEMPLOYMENT ... remember.

That’s what the rats called it when Obummer was pres.

Lets all call it Federal Funemployment from now on. These people are free to chase their passions, do what they always wanted to do like paint, go hiking, etc...

Isn’t that what they said about the rest of us 7 or so years ago?

Ever wonder exactly how deep into the federal trough Kraft has its snout? Kraft and hundreds of others I’d suppose?

Thanks for posting. Sick and tired of stuff like this. Funny how Kraft only “cares’ when it’s Trump in office. Kraft products will stay on the shelves when I go grocery shopping.
