Listen, it’s the sound of crickets in the dead of winter...

That's the beauty of the nebulous term "climate change"

Now it’s potential NG shortages. We are being asked to keep the thermostat no higher than 68 degrees.

Yes, and rolling brownouts - only do your laundry at night. They have turned CA into a third world country. It's like we moved to Venezuela.

With all the illegals and transients pooping on the sidewalks, it seems a higher power has the good sense to pull the “flush” lever, once in a while.

The four seasons of California:
Drought
Fires
Floods, and
Riots.

I’ve lived here all my life. The fact is that we live in a very marginal climate, précis wise, for supporting so large a population. Regular as clockwork the news stories in the spring of drought years say the lack of rain will cause what vegetation there is to devour quickly and lead to big fires. In wet years the stories say the abundant vegetation will lead to big fires when it dries out. The conclusion? In the summer and fall we get fires, one way or the other

Drought, mudslides, earthquakes, illegals, pervs, and worst of all, democrats. I guess the taxes are ok, oh, wait...

If it wasn’t for that last plague it would be pleasant enough, most of the time!)

As much as seven feet of snow was possible over 6,000 feet (1,829 meters) in the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Just like the good old days. The cycle is returning and should help the summer season with the runoff.

I was just joking. Isn’t “settled science” what they call the “consensus” on global warming?

A shame more rain doesn’t get over the sierra nevadas into the colorado basin where lake mead/powell water levels keep falling every year.

I think that 80% of the water flows into the ocean.
