Ooo gee....I forgot! Ruthie thought Hillary would win and do just that. She would not for a moment have entertained the thought, “You know, Trump just might win this one. I’d better tell Obama he needs to pick my replacement now!”.
One incident does not a “tradition” make. Interesting though. I think I have a biography of Holmes around here and will read it if found.
I think Holmes was wounded two or three times during the Civil War.
