A new unclassified report by the Defense Intelligence Agency is warning of technological gains against the U.S. military that include pulling ahead of the Pentagon in the development of key weapons systems, particularly China.

“China is building a robust, lethal force with capabilities spanning the air, maritime, space and information domains which will enable China to impose its will in the region,” wrote DIA Director Lt. Gen. Robert Ashley, in a preface to the report.

In a briefing to reporters at the Defense Department on Tuesday, a senior Pentagon official said that in terms of ballistic and cruise missile technology,” I would say they [the Chinese] are with the most modern militaries in the world.”

In particular, the official noted, China is leading in hypersonic missile development. Beijing has been testing for years and is close to deploying a maneuverable hypersonic glide vehicle that will sit atop its ballistic missiles.

Clinton legacy.

Red China’s heavy lift and MRV capabilities.

Transferred from the US to Red China as part of Clinton corruption in the 90s.

What would show that we are 20 years ahead of everyone?

With all the money that goes into research and development contracts yet not much actually comes from it? For years and years on end? I think something is coming from this, we just don’t know about it yet. And for good reason. never show your real capabilities until they are needed.

As Trump has said, many times, “I’m not going to tell you my plans, or my strategy...”

We don’t KNOW, what OUR military is up to, or, what their latest technology is...

Hate to tell you, but we’re not. The Iraq and Afghan Wars sucked down funding and R&D resources and Obama killed so many weapons systems it’s not even funny.

We don’t even have spare parts for the F-22s.

I get it. I just can’t help thinking that we do have the technology, And it’s further ahead than we think, we just are not producing or using it yet.

Hi.

“the Defense Intelligence Agency today confirmed they have 33 thousand emails supposedly deleted by Hillary or her staff (Cheryl Mills) in 2015 and 2016.

Hey, one can believe there are still Patriots in the intelligence services.

....If China is pulling ahead of U.S. in key weapons technologies, wait till the demodummies take control of the purse strings, we will never catch up or pass China if the demodummies have their way. They are so non-American.

Go look at the list of things cancelled under Obama and listen to all the testimony from the military under Trump that we are behind the curve.

It’s a nice fantasy to think we are ahead... but we cancelled fundamentally important technologies that our enemies didn’t. And we deliberately destroyed capabilities we already had. Look at how hastily we’ve been reinstalling CIWS on our ships after removing them. Look at how our LCS system has been a failure at the missions it is being tasked at - frigate/destroyer replacement - and how we decided not to buy a good variant of it but the Saudis will be buying a version better than ours. Look at the fact that we’re having to buy foreign-design frigates now that the LCS has shown itself as a failure. Look at the fact that our Zumwalt-class destroyer has been operationally deployed *without* a single working main weapon system because the initial railgun system got cancelled/delayed/sent back to the lab in favor of the AGS 155mm system - that can’t fire regular 155, and we didn’t buy any ammo for it, and that couldn’t launch missiles because that system’s computer controls didn’t work.

https://www.defensenews.com/digital-show-dailies/surface-navy-association/2018/01/11/navy-has-no-plan-to-introduce-new-ammo-for-ddg-1000/

Meanwhile, China is in **sea trials** of a naval railgun.

Amen to that. I shall add that we should have kicked the Reds back to Russia after we defeated the Nazis.

Exactly the gave Loral Corp a tech transfer waiver and it allowed the Chinese to advance missle knowledge 20 years in a matter of months. Loral was one of the Rats biggest donors. It’s not treasonous if the Rats do it.

China didn’t blow Trillions of dollars blowing up Iraq, Afghanistan & Syria, nor on “perfect” weapons like the F-35. They get far more investment return on their money.
