President Trump sent a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Thursday afternoon informing her an upcoming taxpayer funded, military escorted trip overseas has been postponed.
"Dear Madame Speaker. Due to the Shutdown, I am sorry to inform you that your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed. We will reschedule this seven-day excursion when the Shutdown is over. In light of the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay, I am sure you would agree that postponing this public relations event it totally appropriate. I also feel that, during this period, it would be better if you were in Washington negotiating with me and joining the Strong Border Security movement to end the Shutdown. Obviously, if you would like to make your journey by flying commercial, that would certainly be your prerogative," President Trump wrote.
"I look forward to seeing you soon and even more forward to watching our open and dangerous Southern Border finally receive the attention, funding and security it so desperately deserves!" he concluded.

The trip was part of a larger congressional delegation through the Department of Defense and President Trump denied her military aircraft. According to Fox News, Pelosi was scheduled to leave at 3 p.m. eastern on Thursday afternoon. The letter was sent at 2:20 p.m. An Air Force bus is currently sitting outside House offices, waiting to take lawmakers to the airport. Many of them are on the bus.

Yesterday Speaker Pelosi wrote a letter to President Trump suggesting his State of the Union Address should be postponed. In the letter, she lied about the Secret Service being incapable to provide adequate security for the event.
Yes
Trump will literally cause her to jump in way over her head
She will not sleep and then she will screw up
Trump is living in her head
It is more effective to cancel the return trip
Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch uncovered Pelosis abuse of military travel on taxpayer dime which included bringing members of her family aboard and serving them top shelf liquor.
Purchases for one Pelosi-led CODEL on May 15-20, 2008 included: Johnny Walker Red scotch, Grey Goose vodka, E&J brandy, Baileys Irish Crème, Makers Mark whiskey, Courvoisier cognac, Bacardi Light rum, Jim Beam whiskey, Beefeater gin, Dewars scotch, Bombay Sapphire gin, Tom Fitton said.
Speaker Pelosi used the Air Force aircraft for a total of 85 trips, covering 206,264 miles, from March 2, 2009 through June 7, 2010. Pelosi, her guests and Air Force personnel logged a total of 428.6 hours on these flights, Mr. Fitton added.
The funniest thing I’ve ever seen a President do

Agreed. And the timing was PERFECT!
All Demorats just love pissing away the Tax payers dime....
All Demorats just love pissing away the Tax payers dime....
That’s one stiff upper lip!
This pretty much guarantees PDJT will be impeached. But what else is new? It won’t go anywhere in the Senate and the Democrats will once again show the ass to the voters. I suspect DJT is playing B’r Rabbit, “Oh don’t throws me in da briar patch, please , no!” After all it all worked so well for the Republicans when they tried to get Slick Willie.
In the mean time the Senate will continue to confirm conservative judges to the federal bench and hopefully when it can no longer be hidden that Buzzie Ginsberg really has been dead for 5 months, PDJT will put another conservative justice on the SCOTUS. And I suspect at some point DJT will play the ultimate card and declassify all of the stuff surrounding the soft coup attempt.
