I wish they’d been allowed to get to the airbase and out onto the tarmac, only to discover there was no plane or that the plane doors were closed, etc. Let ‘em have that kick in the gut just when they think they are about to board the flight, heh heh.... ok I suppose that might be a bit much for the Congressional Snowflakes...
I would have let them get on the plane and sit there on the tarmac for a couple hours with no air, water or working toilets before making them get off!
