If the reports are correct, this was unwarranted.

Horrible. Many in the comments section say the media is silent on this.

Sad for him and his family, but the Yellow Vesters now have a poster-child for their movement.

There were bound to be casualties.
They are not submitting like they were supposed to.

Well, it was reported that he was hit with a flash-ball round, and you can hardly aim those launchers very well.
He was not shot with a firearm as far as I can tell.

The local police prefect has ordered a full investigation, claiming that a gang of Yellow Vests was 'trying to get into an Apple store nearby' at the time of the shooting. So...uh...why not shoot at them instead?

Accidentally shot in the back? I see where a crowd dispersal weapon may be useful for an advancing mob. Unless this dude was rushing the cops by running backwards, throwing rocks over his shoulders and other life threatening things people do with their backs turned, it was no accident.

I'll bet that the cops will end up wishing this hadn't happened.

I had previously read that the French cops were aiming for the head with their rounds. They are trying to provoke a violent response. So far, the peaceful protesters haven’t risen to the bait, but if the cops are going to play this game, they might want to send their families to a safe haven, like Vichy.

Looks like this thread is good for identifying a member of the EU social media team.
No about page? Why don’t you at least put up an EU flag.
