Well, it was reported that he was hit with a flash-ball round, and you can hardly aim those launchers very well.

He was not shot with a firearm as far as I can tell.

About a dozen years ago in Boston, after some sports team won whatever, and college students went wild, a pepper ball round struck and killed some out-of-state student.

Hit her in the eye region just right. Probably wasn't even a fan, just happened to be a gawker in a rowdy knot of students.

According to Wikipedia, the mfg claims the flash-ball hits with the "stopping power" of a .38 handgun.

"Well, it was reported that he was hit with a flash-ball round, and you can hardly aim those launchers very well."

I had to do a search to see what the thing was. It looks like a gas gun, and the video I saw, showed the guy loading the double barrel with what looked like a very large cartridge...not much smaller than a gas grenade. When we had to qualify at the range each year, we had to shoot the department's gas gun, and we were always told to aim low, because gas rises. The video I watched showed the guy shooting it directly at the torso of first, a target, then at two humans. The language is foreign. I'm assuming .FI is Finland? Here's the link to the YouTube video if anyone is interested:
