And the military cannot define my Biblical concept of success

Are you suggesting that the military is obligated to adopt your Biblical concept of success? In fact they cannot do so. We do not have an established religion in this country, but we certainly do have the freedom to exercise our own religious views.

In context I was judging by Scripture the new concept of success, of obtaining such by submitting to political correctness (which i assumed you also would oppose), including not hiring the best qualified persons but that which affirmative action programs require, and the detrimental effects of it.

For as for military being not obligated to adopt my Biblical concept of success, such as recognizing the intrinsic differences btwn male and females, and the historical functional and position distinction, and with rewards being actually merited, than acting thusly has more of a basis than the ideology of political correctness.

As for how this relates to not having an established religion in this country, this is true as regard official sanction of a specific sect, but to the Founders this neither meant hostility to religion, or that the gov. could not affirm religious faith and basic morality, not simply generally held moral laws, but those which had a distinct Christian flavor. All which the Founders in general affirmed.

All moral laws and beliefs of the US reflect to have a foundation, and Constitution and bill of rights reflect the beliefs of the Founders, Christian and Deists, but the interpretation of them reflect, to varying degrees, the beliefs of the interpreters of the Constitution, which in term, reflect the real beliefs of the electors of them.

As basic Christianity is recognized by historians as being the "civil faith" of the country, so it is no surprise that this would effect and what manner of persons are elected (directly or indirectly) on various levels as the interpreters of the Constitution and laws.

The general beliefs of the people having much changed, and thus the interpretation of the Constitution and past laws, the difference now as relate to military policy is that of a military which discharged man for sodomy, and one that would marry the two.
