Not repeating BuzzFeed's obvious lies does not make you an honest journalist. It just means you weren't caught doing anything as bad as BuzzFeed ... today.

... and there was a time ... or maybe there never was ... when you didn't have to modify the word 'journalism' by preceding it with 'honest.'

In a world without the MSM, and originally, the modifier would be redundant.

You're either a journalist, or you're not. The left has no journalists. To say the left has no 'honest' journalists is like the saying the desert has no wet water. But alas, today we must call water wet to be clear what we mean, so has the left destroyed truth and mangled the language such that nothing means what it originally meant and most words don't mean anything, or they mean 10 things, depending on how you feel or identify, which amounts to the same thing. For example, there was a time with the verb 'identify' took an object. Now it's reflexive-ish, and that didn't happen on its own, kids.

Only...they DID repeat buzzfeed's crap. They repeated it saying "If this is true" which means nothing when you run with it as if it IS true for nearly a full news cycle and getting the rats in congress to go full nut bar crazy(er than they already are) excited about impeaching Trump or causing him to step down.
