Friday on NBC’s “Today Show,” NBC and MSNBC host Chuck Todd boasted about the significance of a Buzzfeed story reporting President Donald Trump directed his then-legal counsel Michael Cohen to lie about a real estate project in Russia.
Todd told NBC’s Savannah Guthrie that one couldn’t “overstate” the significance of the report.
“In the Trump era we have a hard time sometimes under-calibrating — and everybody is like, ‘Oh my God, oh my God — this is it, this is it,'” Todd said. “You can’t overstate how significant this development is, with the caveat of if true. I mean, a lot of this is the ‘if true.’”

In one minute, I found a CNN interview of one of the Buzzfeed authors, Cormier - and he says - our sources, he calls them “officials,” are fully 100% read into the Special Counsel Investigation.
Get that, two “Officials” in the Special Counsel Investigation per one of the authors of the piece, speaking on CNN.
The Talking Heads trying to conjure some other meaning are lying through their teeth.

I tell my lawyer to rob a bank to pay my legal fees. The lawyer robs the Bank of America and, during the robbery, kills 3 security guards. The body of one of the guards falls onto a skateboard, rolls out the front door and directly causes an elderly woman to fall into traffic, get hit by a car speeding by, causing extensive damages to the car and the skateboard, killing the elderly woman. I was in Hawaii at the time of the robbery, playing golf with Barack Obama.
