And is not reserved exclusively for men.
I believe that advising people, “Don’t do stupid stuff!” is now grounds for a public thrashing. Positing a connection between actions and outcomes is all racist and hatey and everything.

Everyone is now connected via the internet. They seem to think they all have the ability to behave as they wish and then be shocked when anyone else is repulsed. They have no shame and now there are hyphenated social crimes containing the word ‘shame’. Body-shaming. Slut-shaming. H’mmm. Is there a trend here?
No one accepts shame. No one accepts blame. What used to be standard social reaction to unacceptable behavior is now grounds for a lawsuit. People pretend to accept anything and everything until they are thwarted and at that point, they become as ugly as possible.
And still: no one seems to realize it could all have been avoided by behaving honorably and with decorum. In this instance, everyone involved, including the husband, was happily indulging themselves. Only the child is innocent.
I think I’ve aged-out of this society.

Like cops and fbi agents, the rules are not meant for them.
If you line up corrupt law enforcement on one side, and the straight ones on the other side, the bad guys win in a land slide.
And Hannity, please spare me about the 'rank and file' in the fbi.
The fbi corruption starts at the bottom and is promoted up through the ranks.
They are not all on the pad, but they use the rules and bend the hell out of the law, to fit their view of 'justice'.

OK, I don’t like the idea of someone being beaten or forced to have sex. But there’s a problem here. This lady engaged in an extramarital affair and allowed nude photos to be taken.
Sorry, I have no sympathy for this woman. As a mature cop that investigated sexual assault and domestic violence she should have known better.

They should both be kicked off the force.

I guess the moral of this story is to be darn sure there are no cameras around when you’re honking on someone’s root.
The guy was a nut when they hooked up. He still is. And I would guess all the men knew he was boning her from day one. Cops know who does who.

I know the modern thought process is that I’m supposed to be outraged about this woman’s plight but sorry, I just can’t muster it. This situation is entirely of her own making and she just doesn’t like that the chickens are coming home to roost as my grandmother would say. Stay in your marital bed and keep your panties on around your co-workers if you don’t want to be outed as an adulterous slut. I’ve got no sympathy to give.
Extort me or my family and expect the stakes to be suddenly and inexplicably raised to a level that will deprive you of your natural ability to sustain life on this planet.
