Many people are saying that the Mainstream Media will have a very hard time restoring credibility because of the way they have treated me over the past 3 years (including the election lead-up), as highlighted by the disgraceful Buzzfeed story & the even more disgraceful coverage!

The "Next" Bombshell(s), if true

will have greatly diminished value(s).

THEY cried wolf too many times already.

I watch OANN, One America News Network for my news. They are a lot better than the other news networks.

Yes, they do live in an alternate reality. If you read comments on liberal “news” websites, it’s amazing. They are full of rage and hate and false accusations against Trump.

Objective credibility is meaningless to the mainstream media. This is their version, for now, of brute force. They consider themselves invulnerable, like only the deep establishment can...they aren’t trying to build a clientele or audience, they know it’s nearly impossible for anyone to put together the capital to compete with them.

Mueller might be trying to cozy up to the new AG...

Mueller doesn't need to cozy up to Barr. They've been friends for 30 years. Their wives attend Bible study classes together.

This friendship is dangerous, IMHO, and is the only thing I hold against Barr in his confirmation quest.

My wife, who used to be an earnest liberal, no longer can watch the evening news. Last night she switched off CBS after about 5 minutes because they were so against President Trump. But switching to NBC brought her no relief. She asked me if the News side was winning i.e. are the people buying it? I told her I didn’t know, because I stopped watching the news a couple of years ago. But I don’t think the Big News have been able to peel away the President’s supporters like they thought they could.

I’m incredibly proud of our President. He could have turned out to be another get-along, go-along RINO, compromising East Coast squish. But he beat Hillary, therefore he is public enemy No 1 to the media-political establishment. They started this war. He fights back, and there’s no turning back. The American people are all he has. I’d say his odds are pretty good.

Mark Levin was all over this last night, calling for immediate investigation into Mueller’s team, for leaking to BuzzFeed. Laws have been broken, right in front of everyone.

Then didn’t have credibility decades ago, its just that no one was calling them out until Bozell’s Media Research Center came along.

Now we have a MAGAphone broadcasting from the White House.

But...they have been able to continually solidify the left’s hate of POTUS Trump because only Trump’s base is watching anything else.

Propaganda is not news. Anyone with even half a brain can tell the difference.

Factual News is protected speech under the 1st amendment. Propaganda, not so much.

Then why are they getting away with it? I was wondering if a lawsuit or 10 would help?

“Why was it given to Buzzfeed, and for what purpose? Who’s looking for the leaker?”

The leaker is someone still in the White House or DOJ or FBI. Exposure will allow that person to be weeded out, blinding the opposition a little more. BuzzFeed may have been chosen because they were one of the first outlets to report the Russia dossier. This current episode discredits BuzzFeed in everyone’s minds, maybe in prep for more info to come out about the untruthfulness of the dossier, which will be a necessary precondition for shutting down Mueller. The beauty of this is Mueller issued the fact check that destroyed the story.

Because the law of Libel and defamation is established as different between public and private figures in the USA.

In the UK the law favors public figures. First Lady Melania nailed the Daily Mail:

“Melania Trump lawsuit: Daily Mail and MailOnline agree to pay damages to First Lady”

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/melania-trump-daily-mail-mailonline-pay-damages-first-lady-escort-allegations-prostitute-white-house-a7679731.html

Its harder to do in the USA, but I believe the president should sue in some cases.

Well they certainly need to be held accountable. I don’t see a president ever suing though.

Then the laws will never change unless presidents do sue. . I mean a comedian in a photo standing there with a bloody Trump head is pretty tempting to sue on, don’t you think?

Any court would be hard pressed not to award damages, including punitive damages..
