Trump doesn't strike me as a "Davos Men" kind of guy.

A populist president among a bunch of globalist weenies who think their sh*t don't stink.

Trump was probably glad he had to cancel.

On January 25, a year ago, some sixteen members of Europe’s top corporations met with Donald Trump at Davos. These moguls together (including Adidas, Siemens, Bayer, etc.) promised to invest billions of dollars in the American economy. It is to be hoped that some enterprising journalist follows-up on their pledges.
