Why not REQUIRE them to wear MAGA hats, just like the Jews in Germany were REQUIRED to wear a Star of David, just so they could be identified as the “enemy” or the “untrustworthy” ones? That way we can figure out who the true “fascists” are!
If some ambitious entrepreneur would manufacture and market little “yellow vest” pins, I suspect many Americans would wear them in support of their bros across the pond.
