Kamala Harris: Documents (a British subject)?
US National Archives ^ | January 21, 2019 | research99

Posted on 01/21/2019 12:25:55 PM PST by research99

Monday, January 21, 2019, California Senator Kamala Devi Harris announced her candidacy for the 2020 Presidential election.

Outstanding questions pertaining to her candidacy include her eligibility for this office. The US Constitution specifies only a "natural born" US citizen may hold this post. Definitions of that term, according to the intent of the writers of the Constitution, as well as some later court rulings, indicate this means "born to two US citizen parents." The requirement was intended so that only someone with undivided loyalties to the US, someone not with possible divided loyalties to other nations, could assume the title of commander-in-chief of our armed forces.

Her resume is significantly thinner than other people who will probably run for the Democratic nomination. Her team is going to use any appeal that can get her across the primary finish line and you can bet a great many of those appeals are going to be based on identity, the historical nature of her candidacy, and grievance. It’s kind of like Harry Potter. The books took off in popularity even more when church groups started burning them.

You may want to review section 1. of the XIV Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

“There is no law making children born to legal or illegal foreign nationals U.S. citizens at birth.”

Maybe not, but I’m sure the 9th circus would chime in if needed

No court will hear the case.

No Republican elected official will challenge her eligibility.

“She was born in the continental U.S. and this went through in the 1800’s after the founders died.”

The 14th was for newly freed stateless slaves. That’s it. It had nothing to do with children born to foreign nationals.

So not only is Kamala NOT a natural born Citizen, she’s not even a citizen under law. She’s a CINO. A court created citzen[Wong] A citizen in name only

After 2008, we learned a lot more through FOIA of domestic files of Obama’s “father,” as well as British colonial archival records from the U.K. and Kenya.

Similar documents are likely to exist, pertaining in particular to Kamala’s father Donald Harris (and possibly also to her mother from India, Shyamala Gopalan).

There are about 21 1/2 months between now and election day in November 2020. Hopefully citizen researchers will be able to accomplish what the media wouldn’t in 2008: Vet and verify the eligibility (or ineligibility) of a presidential candidate.

Has Ted Cruz chimed in on the question?

So begins the billions of wasted Keystrokes.

We already know what she is and what she isn’t.

It is of no consequence.

Nancy Pelosi signed the form that certified Obama’s eligibility for the office in 2008.

Notably, that form was altered for just one state, Hawaii, when it was submitted to the various Secretaries of State for each state’s ballot.

We have time to ensure, that sort of mistake is not made again.

soetoro's father was a British subject when he was born, he was not eligible and it didn't matter.

The GOP needs to grow a set and fight the destruction of the Constitution.

There are two types of law. Statute and precedent. Precedent is totally with her. The only thing that is going to come out of this is that her appeal will increase for voters who vote their sympathies instead of voting for competent leadership.

It absolutely was a concerted and determined effort to neutralize the protections of the natural born citizen requirement.
BOTH parties participated in the violation of the Constitution.
That is precisely why it will be so hard to reverse it.
The effort started long before Obama, though.

Cool, now California has no Senators looking out for us, not that they have for about 20 years. One will be too busy running around the country campaigning for her next position (not!), while the other Senator is too busy looking for her glasses so she can see what it is she’s long ago forgotten.

Now, wait. Is this a bad thing or a good thing?

“As long as both her parents were resident aliens or in the process of becoming naturalized citizens, then under U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark, Harris is a natural born citizen.”

Wrong. They ruled that Wong was a citizen, not a natural born Citizen.

And Wong got it wrong about that too. And since the courts can’t make anyone a citizen, make law or change the Constitution, children born to foreign nationals, whether here legally or illegally are CINOs. Citizens in name only.

“and it didn’t matter“

Yup and the republicans ran a whole crop of non eligible candidates right after. I will always believe BOTH sides are trying to destroy the NBC clause.

We would do well to keep it.

That link is takes citations from cases out of context.

Minor v. Happersett was about women's sufferage, not citizenship.

Obama was allowed to be President and no one even tried to claim both his parents were citizens. They made it all about where he was born and the birthers went right along with it instead of focusing on the obvious - that BHO Senior was never a US Citizen.

If something is not done, our first Illegal Alien president is right around the corner.

Personally, I prefer to not give her more standing than is her due. It would be good if the Democrats chose the most competent candidate they have, just in case that person wins. She is far from the most competent candidate. She will have to rely on emotional appeals that don’t do jack for governing the country effectively. No. Thank. You.
