And by Russia, I mean the Soviet Union.
Here’s the link to another copy of the article that was on WesternFreePress: https://westernfreepress.com/is-vladimir-putin-a-communist/
Now, maybe if Putin sought to restore Tsarist Russia and not the USSR, I’d be a bit more respecting of him. But as it is, he threw his lot into communism and is constantly backing it, therefore he is as much of an enemy as Soros is.

link 2: Goes to an author whose writings show no indication of being conservative at all.
Actually, considering he exposed the Congressional Progressive Caucus as a Marxist organization, had no kind words for Maoists, among others, and his site even exposes the anti-Christian nature of the left, I’d say he and his site are definitely conservative.
Besides, even the KGB defector Viktor Suvorov stated that the USSR’s fall wasn’t genuine, and that if anything, the West believing it was just showed how stupid we were. And quite frankly, had I been in Putin’s shoes, I would have gone VERY far in getting rid of Communism, including burning my KGB card in public, having Karl Marx’s statue torn down, close down Lenin’s mausoleum, have all the Communist groups shut down and even executed, even shut down any Marxist holidays, all to ensure Communism in Russia is completely and totally wiped out, and I certainly wouldn’t back any Communist countries under our sphere of influence such as North Korea and/or Nicaragua, and if anything back the ones trying to tear the Communist structures down. THAT’S how far I’d go to get rid of Communism had I been in his shoes. That’s exactly why I doubt he is sincere in his supposed anti-Communism.
> exposed the Congressional Progressive Caucus as a Marxist organization
Everyone already knows that “progressive” = Marxist. They exposed themselves when they named their caucus.
This is ridiculous circular logic you’re presenting here. You can find Communists who are against other Communists - even in the Cold War era, Russia and China were not friends. You can find Fascists who are against Communists, and they are no friends of ours either.
There is a class of relics who never got over the end of the Cold War, and what you’re looking at is one of them.
Today’s anti-Russian propagandists are working hand in hand with the Clintons and their globalist allies whether they believe they are doing the right thing or not.
In case you haven’t noticed when looking through the articles, he also had no kind words for the Koch Bros., and even thanked President Trump for condemning them, and part of the reason he condemned the Koch Bros. was that they pushed for globalist policies. If that doesn’t prove that the author of that piece was against globalism and thus is an actual conservative, I don’t know what does.

Heck, he even told Trump to be wary of the threat Putin’s Russia poses, or else lose to Hillary: https://www.trevorloudon.com/2016/07/warning-to-donald-trump-get-real-on-russian-threat-or-lose-to-hillary/
And quite frankly, acting like Putin’s good just because he’s against Soros is the exact same mistake you’re accusing me of making. Besides, I’m pretty sure if Putin truly was anti-communist or as good of a guy as you say he is, he wouldn’t have hosted this Communist event:
