“And yet, today we have here on FR, a “discussion of bad refereeing” at a f*cking football game! I fear we have too many people whose priorities in life are clearly upside down.”

There ARE too many of those people, hence the state of the country, but I don’t think that’s true of the FR gang (there are always exceptions). But even people beneath the wheel need bread and circuses. I enjoy a few television shows and read fiction novels to relax. It doesn’t mean my priorities are screwed. It means thinking about the madness 24/7 can make you crazy. Diversions aren’t always bad.

It might be different if circumstances were not so grave. But here we are, and each day I read or hear something that is so outrageous, that I wonder if the Left’s psychosis has gone viral. All I can say is TG for President Trump. It seems to me that we should be more focussed on our country today than twiddling our thumbs over a football game as if the outcome was critical for some unexplained reason.
Bread and Circuses indeed!
