You’re completely wrong. They are just ammending the house bill in one and voting on the house bill in the other (a complete cave). What will happen...both bills will pass the Senate...since one is exactly what the house already passed that will go to the President to sign and the other will go back to the house to die. It’ll force Trump to sigh (a complete and total cave), or veto a “bi partisan bill”). Hopefully he vetos but then the Dems get to say Trump is keeping the government shutdown. What they would have done if they actually supported Trump would be to put the Trump ammendments to a vote and force the Democrats to fillibuster. They don’t support Trump.
