House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Blocks President Trump Entry into Capitol Building – Confirms State of Union Speech Cancellation…
It looks like Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi has no intention of allowing the House chamber to be used for a State of the Union address.
Speaker Pelosi has informed the House Sergeant at Arms that no executive branch official will be permitted entry into the Capitol building.
Earlier Fox News reported Pelosi cancelled a walkthrough last week, and a second request for reconsideration from the White House is expected to meet the same fate. The House Speaker controls who is, and who is not, permitted entry to the House floor. Until Speaker Pelosi calls for a vote to support a joint session of congress, the President cannot enter the chamber.

To be an official SOTU, it requires a joint session and/or a written SOTU. I am suggesting a large rally, presenting the SOTU to the people with a written version sent afterwards to congress. He is not the first president to be denied entry to the house. It serves no further purpose to try to hand it to her in person. It is not about her, the presentation is to both houses of congress, whether written or spoken. Geo Washington was so badly treated by congress when he went before them to present the first SOTU that he left and refused to ever go back. He sent written SOTU to them. It is not a yearly requirement nor is it required to be given in person.

Nancy should be banned from the Senate office building and the White house.
Only Congress can vote to deny courts jurisdiction of cases, not the president. That is how it should be.
You can’t read. Pelosi does have the power to prevent anyone from entering the House. Also, the president does not have the power to fire the Sergeant at Arms. He is not a dictator nor does he control everything that moves in DC. Congress is an equal branch of government with the President. You may not like it but this is the truth.

What about parts of the building that Senate/Senators inhibit? She can block their normal business, too?

President Trump ready to give his SOTU, confronted and blocked by House Sergeant at Arms on the steps of the Capitol building, while speaker Pelosi & Co. presumably are somewhere hiding inside the building.
