House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Blocks President Trump Entry into Capitol Building – Confirms State of Union Speech Cancellation…
It looks like Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi has no intention of allowing the House chamber to be used for a State of the Union address.
Speaker Pelosi has informed the House Sergeant at Arms that no executive branch official will be permitted entry into the Capitol building.
Earlier Fox News reported Pelosi cancelled a walkthrough last week, and a second request for reconsideration from the White House is expected to meet the same fate. The House Speaker controls who is, and who is not, permitted entry to the House floor. Until Speaker Pelosi calls for a vote to support a joint session of congress, the President cannot enter the chamber.
Deputy White House Press Secretary Hogan Gidley discusses the status of the current shutdown negotiations and the likelihood a SOU address will have to take place outside Washington DC.

Means nothing. The SOTU is required “from time to time” and not on an annual basis.
Schedule a large venue rally, present the SOTU directly to the people, dare the media not to cover it and send a written copy to congress as was traditionally done.
Trump should pull all Secret Service details, and any other such security, from all Congressional Democrats. Simultaneously he should arrange to remove every concrete barrier and other such physical protections from around the U.S. Capitol ... Then make a public statement as to such defenses being absent.

Scott Adams did a periscope when Trump got the first letter suggesting he put the SOTU off due to security concerns during the shutdown. He was rather amused .... said Trump was “constrained” by the formal venue (in the House) & what has Nancy done? She has “set him free” to do what he does best - unconventional. This should be interesting to see what Trump comes up with.
Nancy’s personal animus towards Trump is so all encompassing that she would have needed a barf bucket in her lap to make it through a SOTU where she had to sit on the House dais behind him.
Beligosi has built a “wall” around the House.
... I say he boards AF1 with a HUGE entourage of everyday Americans, flies to Afganistan, & gives it before our WONDERFUL TROOPS. THEN sends Nancy a postcard with the “having a great time, wish you were HERE” note.
It will be wonderful to have her lose such a big defeat to wrap up her grifting career with.
Organize a MAGA SOTU rally. Section the seating by state and invite congresscritters to sit with their constituents.

Pelosi is losing it. President Trump is running circles around her. Even Chrissy Matthews commented that her trying to leave town on a junket last week made the Democrats look foolish. Meanwhile, AOC has been elevated to the most popular, most fawned-over, most talked about Democrat in the country. She's taking over the party.
In Nancy’s feces littered own town. It would be a pretty good statement.
