Call it the State of The Union address
If Pelosi wants a written STOU have the address transcribed and sent to Pelosi.

To be an official SOTU, it requires a joint session and/or a written SOTU. I am suggesting a large rally, presenting the SOTU to the people with a written version sent afterwards to congress. He is not the first president to be denied entry to the house. It serves no further purpose to try to hand it to her in person. It is not about her, the presentation is to both houses of congress, whether written or spoken. Geo Washington was so badly treated by congress when he went before them to present the first SOTU that he left and refused to ever go back. He sent written SOTU to them. It is not a yearly requirement nor is it required to be given in person.
