Special counsel Robert Mueller's team has expressed interest in the Trump campaign's relationship with the National Rifle Association during the 2016 campaign.
"When I was interviewed by the special counsel's office, I was asked about the Trump campaign and our dealings with the NRA," Sam Nunberg, a former Trump campaign aide, told CNN.
The special counsel's team was curious to learn more about how Donald Trump and his operatives first formed a relationship with the NRA and how Trump wound up speaking at the group's annual meeting in 2015, just months before announcing his presidential bid, Nunberg said.

This is very far out of line. The NRA exists to promote freedom, to provide education, and to preserve, protect, and defend the Second Amendment to the Constitution. To treat an association with the NRA as suspect is to prove that Mueller is anti-American. These people are enemies of the state (the lawful state, the federal government that is on our side because it is constrained by the Constitution as written) and enemies of freedom.
Burn this jerk at the stake and use all his “findings” as the fuel. That would be the best use of them. I am so tired of the enormous waste of taxpayer money with this nonsense and the waste of the president’s time.
Enough is enough. Lock him up.
Mueller was appointed to investigate any connections between the Trump 2016 Campaign and Russia. That’s it.
How does the NRA in any way relate to that??

Joe diGenova seems to think that Barr will get tough on Mueller and his witch hunt. He said that Mueller disputing the recent BuzzFeed lies was because he realizes there’ll be hell to pay with Barr if he lets the lies continue. I hope he’s right. I don’t trust Barr ... yet. Maybe later.

It’s because the NRA management is loaded up with Russians.
Because Russia is all about the second amendment.
Mueller is obviously looking at the “Russian” NRA. I keep seeing these reports about how the investigation is winding down. Mueller’s investigation will end sometime after Trump leaves office even if that means 2024. Once the Trump administration gave the DS the green light by appointing Sessions/Rosenweasel/Wray/Barr and stepping back the investigation became never ending. With the same players in place and being free from any repercussions I wouldn’t be surprised to see a second SP named to look at some other supposed Trump crime.
