No, the Venezuelan people get a charismatic civilian leader instead of a monster who, it is widely acknowledged, stole the last “election.” Having said that, I don’t favor U.S. intervention there. Let the people, with the Venezuelan military’s backing, take control.

The people of Venezuela will continue to get screwed but by different bastards. The military will probably get western companies to get the oil flowing again and bring in more revenue for them, maybe more jobs for citizens, but in reality not much will change until the communists take back the government and the cycle repeats itself.”
The “experts” said almost the exactly same thing when the Communist governments in Eastern Europe were overthrown.
