Some of Trump's allies have suggested that Giuliani should at least be barred from evening interviews because of concerns that he was going on TV after drinking, according to three Republicans close to the White House.

Rudy still has a world class mind. That said, if he has been drinking too much, it might be time to start rehab (it might be done as an outpatient, but I leave that to Rudy and his advisors).

As one of the many who knows well, sobriety is one of the best things life has to offer. And sobriety would be nothing of value were it not for a long or intense (or both) period of over indulgence.;-)

Sometimes old guys lose a tad off their fastball, but they keep hiring the other old guys they used to depend upon or respect—not realizing that those guys have fallen a fair bit farther off their respective peaks.

I think there is a little bit of that in Trump.

I have watched Rudy representing Trump or his positions over the past couple of years. It is my opinion that he is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s, or something similar. He just isn’t the same guy that he used to be. Sad.

I think there is a little bit of that in Trump.

I hadn't listened to Barry Farber in several years so I thought I'd tune in to his podcasts. Unfortunately, Barry Farber has lost his comforting voice.

About a month ago, a knowledgeable guest stated, "Trump won't last another year: he's falling apart".

I was in the minority, but I said on DAY 1 that Rudy was a huge mistake. Rudy is out for Rudy. He is an evil mam who pioneered the techniques of criminalizing political foes & inspired the likes of Comey, etc.

Trump’s greatest weakness is the team he picks.

Rudy is past hi sell-by date and an alcoholic likely to boot. Put him out to pasture.

Trump’s biggest dilemma is, “who can I trust.”

Trump needs that kind of mind on his team... whether he should be out in front is a different question. Certainly not after drinking, but this could just be a slur (pun intended) to undermine G.

Jared and Ivanka are circling for the Nancy Reagan role, with credit. But they are Clinton Democrats, at best.

Husband and wife Joe diGenova and Victoria Toensing seem to be his most avid and serious supporters, on TV anyway. I wish Trump would’ve used them in some manner. Joe probably would’ve been a better selection for Attorney General.

Why does he keep selecting people who do him more harm than good?

Giuliani is a walking disaster. Every time he opens his mouth, he says something stupid. Was he always this way?

Are the “three Republicans close to the White House” three Anti-Trumpers walking outside the fence around 1600 Pennsylvania Ave? That said, Rudy may still be a strategic legal thinker, but he is definitely not quick on his feet ( mentally) and should stay off of TV.

As I recall he was always quick with an answer - which used to be good. Now, not so much.
