Political correctness is for Progressives, Leftists, Fabianists, etc. what 'morality' is as it evolves over time. And because only Leftists et al possess the gnosis of evolved 'morality' only they know what right and wrong is at any time.
Our nation was not founded on Leftism and evolution but on Biblical concepts. Of these, the existence of an eternally unchanging, personal Tri-Personal creator God who created persons (not evolved entities) and only two sexes, male and female, is the foundation stone of our unalienable Constitutional rights. Likewise, His unchanging moral law is the transcendent source of our morality.
In this light, a vote for a 'gay' is by default a vote against America's founding worldview and for Leftism and evolution (change).

Ultimately our value system comes from God. If you have no respect for the word of God by living as a homosexual, then all bets are off as to what you value.
If you can point to a different place from where we get our values, I look forward to hearing about it.
Sexual "orientation" is all about decency and morality.If someone's a pervert he/she/it isn't fit to run a sewage treatment plant let alone hold public office.
But there's probably a 99% chance that a dude who is married to another dude won't have values that you or I believe in.
