He should just move troops to the border on the grounds he is defending against a foreign invasion.
Install boarder barriers consistent with military tactical operations.
Construct the barriers in such away as to prevent those seeking assylum from getting anywhere near someone on U.S. soil that can be asked to grant it.
Start in an area known to have the highest number of border crossing, particularly by those smuggling drugs, weapons used by those with ill-intent for the use.
Take whatever the Democrats have offered and run with it, deploy it also or if funds have not yet been authorized for it, request the funds specific to what they have said they will go with.
He needs to run with what he can do rather than go for it all. Something is better than nothing.
The question for the presidential debate will then become will you remove the troops that President Trump has put in place or leave them in place?

Caller on Rush said that the big reason to reopen now was the upcoming Super Bowl which is America’s #1 holiday (though not officially)... Can you imagine if there were a terrorist attack in Atlanta, that would sink Trump’s chances for reelection in 2020....
That tactic would only work if his administration was actually trying to stop an invasion vs only working on a campaign promise....politics.
There are a lot of things that could be done within the laws in place to stop all the illegal alien crap. None of it has been done because it’s not politically advantageous. Even the caravans get processed through one by one. That tells me it’s all about politics and no one is serious.
That’s why I don’t get too excited about any of this stuff.
