Reports are coming in, trickling would be better or perhaps they are just rumors, but there is glacier formation in Canada right now. As we all know the last ice Age glaciers formed their 2 mile height in about 100 years which translates into roughly 100 feet a year.

However this time around, glacier formation conditions are even more severe than in those long gone days. Prime Minister Trudeau has sent crews to demolish them before they become unmanageable - or at least as far as one report goes. The report continues with the crew having a difficult time keeping up, and even falling behind due to unforeseen circumstances.

That was the last report from the demolition crew. Now Prime Minister Trudeau has sent some of our finest troops to interdict the situation. The thought was that our troops would quickly put an end to the menace, but due to decades of neglect and sever underfunding, there was only enough ammo for one round every 4 troopers. It was quickly decided to arm the troops with a reliable weapon that can be used repeatedly. Below is the only image received before contact was lost.

We're all gonna die ....

Christmas ‘83 was about that cold here in Pittsburgh.
So was Reagan’s second inauguration day.

The problem is that most people’s historical memories barely dip back into the 20th. Century.

I was in St. Louis for Christmas ‘83, and we had the same. The church gave out poinsettias at the Christmas Eve service, and they visibly wilted as people took them to their cars.

In 2000 Dr David Viner, a senior research scientist at the Climate Research Unit of the University of East Anglia, warned that within a few years winter snowfall would become “a very rare and exciting event. Children just aren’t going to know what snow is!

No, not the children..... If they’ll never know what snow is, we might as well abort them.

We have a full blown blizzardy thing going on outside. I have to leave shortly for work and in healthcare I really pretty much have to go.

We're supposed to get another foot of snow today...and we just got one a few days ago. Gonna make for some great pics.

The worst part is I need to stop for gas on the way to work. And getting home will be interesting later tonight.

Everything here was closed for miles at 7pm last night. I was amazed how early they did it and how widespread it was.

I haven't seen our wild turkey flock in 4 days and I hope they are hanging in there.

Neither one of my dogs would let anything touch their paws until one time at my sister’s place. It was -25, so I put booties on their paws. The Peke-Pom-Sheltie didn’t like it and shook the booties off, did his thing and went to the door, trying to keep all his feet off the ground at the same time.

The teacup chihuahua kicked ONE bootie off, then realized what was going on and never shook them off again.

The PPS also accepted the booties for each outside trip after that, as well.

Here in central CA, we’ve already seen overnite lows hit 47 degrees.

How horrible! How do you survive that?

Between snow on Friday, Sunday, and last night, we have about a foot on the ground. Took about 2.5 hours to shovel. It must be up in the 30s because there is some melting. I think I’m done for the day, but there’s a chance of more later. Temps are supposed to drop tomorrow night, I believe and the way below zero stuff on Wednesday.

My dog is okay with jackets and sweaters, and she’s pretty smart, so she might catch on that boots are helpful.

That is cold. Bet the Canadians are laughing at that. Especially the ones who live in Northern Canada.

We would visit Minnesota with the kids. They always complained because it was always so hot and humid. Of course we were always there in July or August. I think it took a few years for them to understand that no, Minnesota isn’t always so hot.

Got 4-5 inches of snow last night.

The problem now, is the falling temps after the front moved through.

Most schools in MN are already closed, Tuesday through Thursday.

It’s going to be bad.

Exactly. And recorded when and by whom? Farmers Almanac is more accurate.

PFFFT, private companies forecast better. They too are usually wrong.

Here’s a better way to forecast. Watch what it does days before it gets to you and voila...cold there, cold coming here.

I don’t need the NWS to tell me it’s going to rain when a storm front is moving through TN. I have many local TV radars, Weather Channel, Accuweather, etc. Why are we still spending money on a government agency to do the same thing?

BTW, the Post Office is obsolete now. Sorry Ben Franklin.
