“Private” health plans are not going to survive another ten years.
Start thinking about what comes next. If the only people thinking about that are communists, what comes next is communism.

If single payer should ever become the law of the land heres what will happen. There will be start cinder block clinics setup for the masses where they will sit on benches all day to see a doctor only to be told to come back in six months for treatment. If in pain, will be given a jumbo bottle of hydrocodone. Oh, well, at least we stuck it to the rich, heh heh! Hardly, the rich will go to concierge medical facilities similar to the UK model. If these should be deemed illegal as in Canada (Canadians currently come across the border for serous treatmeants to the US) then expect to see medical Resorts set up in the Caribbean where the rich, affluent, upper middle class will go for treatment. Bottom line; it will be the poor, working poor, blue collar folks who will get screwed. Count on it 😏....

What happens when the Govt wipes out an Insurance industry of around say 12% of GDP. What happens to these displaced workers? They become Govt employees, like they were acquired by another company?
This can’t end well for these people who live and work in the Insurance industry. I know a former Dr of Obstetrics that works in the claims dept at a big Blue Cross style place. What happens to people like that?

It is a well known communist agenda to take over control of healthcare and education. They admitted as much even in the 1800s. It’s amazing though, that being armed with that information that US and Canada would allow a government takeover of said institutions. I guess it’s different when we do it.
Here in Alberta I will get some strange looks sometimes when I state that I’m vehemently opposed to public education and health. I then explain why. There are a lot of people from elsewhere though that get very angry with me because they think I’m tampering with their “free” stuff. It’s anything but free.

That would require Republicans to think about something other than the next lobbyist checkor cartel donation. And they are about 100 years behind the communists on promoting their solution...
