New details of 2016 meeting with Trump dossier author conflict with Dems’ timeline

New details contained in congressional transcripts and emails about a July 2016 meeting involving the author of the anti-Trump “dossier,” Justice Department official BruceOhr, and his wife, Nellie, appear to conflict with claims from Democrats -- and the co-founder of the firm behind the dossier -- that significant contacts did not occur until after the election.

According to the records, the little-known breakfast meeting was held on July 30, 2016 at Washington, D.C.’s Mayflower Hotel.

Congressional transcripts, confirmed by Fox News, showed Nellie Ohr told House investigators last year that Christopher Steele, the British ex-spy who compiled the dossier, wanted to get word to the FBI at the time.

“My understanding was that ChrisSteele was hoping that Bruce (Ohr) could put in a word with the FBI to follow-up in some way,” Nellie Ohr testified in response to a Republican line of questioning, regarding the purpose of the meeting. Bruce Ohr did just that, almost immediately contacting then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and FBI lawyer Lisa Page.

Asked by House investigators what they talked about at the breakfast meeting, NellieOhr said: “[Steele’s] suspicions that Russian Government figures were supporting the candidacy of Donald Trump.”

The transcripts came from closed-door interviews conducted last year by the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees when they were under Republican control. The transcripts are undergoing an FBI and DOJ review and are not public.

Nellie Ohr was of interest to investigators since she conducted opposition research on then-candidate Donald Trump for the firm Fusion GPS – the same company that commissioned the dossier. Her husband, meanwhile, is a senior official at the Justice Department who became a back channel between Steele and the FBI, after Steele was fired by the bureau on the eve of the 2016 presidential election over his contacts with the media.

::::::NellieOhr said: “[Steele’s] suspicions that Russian Government figures were supporting the candidacy of Donald Trump.”:::::::

After the Clinton Foundation got BILLIONS from the Russians, and the ex-President husband of the Presidential candidate was paid to give a speech to Putin's bankers, then met at Putin's home, there was glaring lack of intellectual curiosity on the F_I's part to REALLY figure out who the Russians were supporting.

If the Russians were supporting Trump, there would have been no need for the Steele Pee-Pee Dossier using false Russian intelligence. This makes NO sense.

I'm having trouble with their bottom line....Russia was supporting Donald Trump. So what...

We SPECIFICALLY supported leaders in Egypt, Iraq....we got Khaddafi bumped off...

Obama even went to England....telling the people to vote against Brexit.

What, specifically, are you calling hearsay?

Catherine Herridge has been suspiciously quiet about much of the Hannity, Carlson, Carter, and Solomon news of the past year. She has been scrupulously neutral all along. The fact that she is not dipping her toe into this says to me that it is now becoming impossible to ignore. There are simply far too many facts to continuously ignore. Marc Thiessen is also becoming more vocal, even in the WaPoo. Maybe...?

"I'm having trouble with their bottom line....Russia was supporting Donald Trump"

When ya figure that one out let me know.

I am scratching my head how the Dirty Dossier claims sources inside the Kremlin is sharing information to hurt and expose The Donald (presumably, their operation), while in the same sentence claim they are colluding with The Donald.

Journos must have had tears in their eyes laughing so hard at the masses buying the premise of what they write.

Asked by House investigators what they talked about at the breakfast meeting, Nellie Ohr said: “[Steele’s] suspicions that Russian Government figures were supporting the candidacy of Donald Trump.”

So the Russians were supporting Donald Trump because they had salacious intelligence on Donald Trump making him easily blackmailed into obeying every command Putin would put to him, but then they sell that information to the Democrats, whom they know are gathering opposition information to defeat Donald Trump.

People are buying this? Just goes to show that intellectual reasoning no longer is afforded to many Americans anymore. Stupid is as stupid does.

The DOJ and the Special Investigator ought to be made to supply a complete roadmap of this "dossier" starting who conceived of it and who paid for its compilation, regarding the timeline of who received portions of it down to the present, irrespective of whether the contents were true or false.

This roadmap should be published and made accessible to any citizen who asks.

This makes NO sense.......the Clinton Foundation got BILLIONS from the Russians, facilitated the beneficial uranium deal,
Bill Clinton got Big Bucks to give a speech to Putin's bankers. Clinton had no official standing and even met with Putin .....
So who were the Russians supporting? If, as the Democrats hope, the Russians were supporting Trump,
there would have been no need for the salacious Dossier using false Russian intelligence.

===============================

Of all the spurious excuses Hillary gives for her 2016 loss, the most ludicrous is that
Hillary says she lost her "sure-thing election" because "Putin doesn't like me."

Comey sucked up big-time--told Congress Putin wanted to “harm Hillary.”

Hillary once bragged that she, alone, was brought into Putin's inner sanctum
where she assured Putin she was worried about wildlife like he was.

Putin whispered to an attentive Hilary that they were BFF.

Secy Hillary and Obama were eager to please Russia w/ the friendly reset button.
Hillary later said the reset gambit was Obama's and her idea "to strengthen Russia."

==============================================

Ex-Pres Clinton is s-o-o-o-o friendly he traveled to Russia to clinch the uranium giveaway deal.
And to pocket a $500,000 dollar speaking fee from a Moscow bank plus a sizeable commission.

Billybooboo even laid his "Hot Damn Hokey Hillbilly Act" on Putin.

No need to ask Clinton (and Obama) about their Russian connections-----the paper trail is long and wide.

HILLARY'S STATE DEPT----AND THE OBAMA YEARS---UNRELENTING SCANDAL
EXCERPT The taxpayer financed-Skolkovo Scandal By Ari Lieberman/frontpagemagazine.com

While serving as secretary of state, Clinton oversaw a program meant to “reset” relations with Moscow and improve ties. The program centered around the Russian city of Skolkovo near Moscow with the stated aim of “identifying areas of cooperation and pursuing joint projects and actions that strengthen strategic stability, international security, economic well-being, and the development of ties between the American and Russian people.”

Hillary's State Dept program transformed Skolkovo into a technology hub akin to a Silicon Valley. Sensitive American technology was transferred to the Russians, substantially enhancing their military and cyber capabilities. The US Army and the FBI concluded that Russia had exploited the program for military applications.

The FBI warned American technology companies doing business in Skolkovo that the Skolkovo project was a means by which the Russians would acquire dual use technologies and apply them for military ends. According to investigative author Peter Schweizer, Russian and American companies and individuals involved in the Skolkovo fiasco “had major financial ties to the Clintons.”

Moreover, during the Russian reset period, those entities provided the Clintons with “tens of millions of
dollars” in the form of “contributions to the Clinton Foundation, paid for speeches by Bill Clinton, or
investments in small start-up companies with deep Clinton ties.”

Adam Schiff has his entire career tied up in finding a Trump-Russian connection. He foolishly made almost 300 TV
appearances to advance himself. A jerk like Schiff's now got subpoena power; plans to subpoena Trump's Russian translator........

Oh, that's s-o-o-o clever. BOL.

================================

Remember this one, guys? Two Russian comics call him and convince Schiff they have “compromising info” about Pres Trump.
And gonad-lite Schiff falls for it..... hook, line, and sinker.

Here's the hilarious password callers to Schiff told him was “Flynn’s password” for meeting with Russians.
“Weather Is Good on Deribasovskaya, It Rains Again on Brighton Beach.”

BOL.

To fully appreciate the hilarity of this prank one must know about the 1992 film:

What, specifically, are you calling hearsay?

You could call the entire dossier "hearsay" unless the author and witnsses actually testify. Hearsay may have no standing in a courtroom.
