My theory is now the Democrats want Trump to get a second term.
They know that the US isn’t quite ready yet for their radical Left program.
But after four more years of Trump, they think maybe he’ll screw things up so much, that they’ll be ready to accept it.
Yeah. They don’t want to use any of their top prospects so they’ll let this loser handle it.
My bet: No one on the Hill was willing to do it.

Yes, with 3-4% economic growth and very low unemployment and increases in the labor force participation rates, that sure indicates a screw up. Note: we could have a slow down even a short recession-that does happen.
