You are right. Along with school indoctrination, TV and Hollywood the literally “dopey” statements by Dems are affected by the now commonplace drug use since 1966 or so.
There is a category called “daily marijuana user” I heard used when they were drug testing the school bus drivers in one state. Then I ran into a passage in Hollies and Crosby Stills & Nash singer Graham Nash’s autobiography Wild Tales “I have been a daily marijuana user since....”
Despite all the ridicule of the campy classic Reefer Madness and warnings by J. Edgar Hoover , there is a lot of evidence of the deterioration of brain function from marijuana. Along with “lack of interest in a full time job” the users are not always half asleep. Some have sudden explosive outbursts and become violent. This aspect is downplayed or deleted from stories.
My terribly misguided state of Michigan’s voters enacted a law to legalize marijuana use. Shocking and disgraceful.
I pray that it isn’t my car or yours that faces a delusional drug user at the wheel of his vehicle crossing over the lines to face ours head on.
