Vegetarianism doesnt look so bad these days? Hell, what am I saying? Most of the contaminated food and recalls are fruits and vegetables!
I almost never buy meat from a supermarket. I subscribe to a “share” of meat from local farms in my area. Grass-fed beef, pasture raised poultry and pork. All kinds of cuts of meat you would have a hard time finding in a supermarket. I highly recommend this approach. Yes, it is a little expensive, I will grant you that. A share averages around $10 a pound. So we spend about $200 a month on meat. But I find it well worth it and the general health of my wife and I has improved tremendously since getting this meat.
