If only it were that easy to wish away the truth of the story - that GOP establishment is backstabbing Trump on foreign policy

Yep. Denial isn’t just a river in Egypt.

Waring with most of Europe was where the Roman Empire began its long death spiral.
Cut the internet cable to Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan and much of the worlds problems would become much smaller.

No brainer here.

If Trump didn't distinguish himself from the "Republican establishment" on issues like this, then Yeb Bush may as well have been the nominee in 2016 ... and Hillary Clinton would have been elected.

I agree, Trump established himself as different than his republican precursors. That is why he won, IMHO. Personally, I am tired of America’s endless wars. Either win, or go home, and if winning is that important...there are no rules in war.

The Mittens brigade is demanding attention in their attempt to stay relevant.

Good luck with that, GOPe. We know who you are, and we will not forget.

The NYT Times "story" (gag) sounds like it was dictated by neocons lounging at the Four Seasons
quaffing chilled Cristal in cut-glass Baccarat stemware ....... stopping every minute or so
to have a wedge of room-temp Brie on a toasted baguette.

You have found the core issue. Beltway Republicans prefer Hillary Criminal and her Constitution destroying SCOTUS to Trump and the 13 million GOP base voters who nominated him. Frankly, it’s hard to see how their tantrum ends well for the GOP.

This hearing illustrates the trouble that Trump has in his administration. The FBI, the CIA, NSA and the military are loaded with anti Trumpers. For these so called leaders to go before Congress and do a 180 from Trump is reprehensible. Trump consistently gets bad advice in his selection of so many losers.

They think the Islamic State is still a threat to America. They think Russia is bad and NATO is good.
The NY Slimes purports to think that Russian collusion is bad, but only if President Trump were to engage in it (which he hasn't).

That freak Dan Coats does not help our President one bit.

Get him out of the government.

>>I am just one American, but I will never be Republican again. The party has left me and it’s on its way to be totally irrelevant and only a slight variation of the DNC.<<

I’m a lifetime Republican but I despise the Party every bit as much as I do the ‘rats. Therefore I will never contribute a single penny to any Republican organization. However I will remain a Republican and continue to contribute to individual office holders and candidates based on their track record for supporting conservative causes and for supporting President Trump.

I have no idea.

He has always been a jerk.

Somebody advising President Trump might have been deceived by him.
