No! He has been using Turkey to refine and is selling to Russia and other countries. This is old news! How this got sensationalized is a prime example of BS news.
During the Spanish Civil War, most of Spain’s gold reserves were shipped by the Communists (alias, Republican forces) to Russia from Communist-controlled Valencia. This was gold in the form of altar vessels, ecclesiastical items, crowns and other royal paraphernalia, and of course, good old ingots.
Getting the gold to Russia seems to be a common leftist dictator pattern.
