Mrs. Chandler loves to watch cooking shows. When we were first married her specialty was Kraft Macaroni and Cheese with hot dogs. Now her skills are off the charts. When I have a question about cooking I turn to her first.

They are really good on those shows of explaining what it what. It is an “inside baseball” sort of thing. Like NEVER rinse your pasta. I never knew that before watching those shows.
Oh one of the biggest lessons: No matter how avante garde you think of yourself as a chef, watermelon and goat cheese do NOT go together.
Lesson learned since that was indeed my plan.
