Federal immigration officials are force-feeding six immigrants through plastic nasal tubes during a hunger strike that's gone on for a month inside a Texas detention facility, The Associated Press has learned. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says 11 detainees at the El Paso Processing Center have been refusing food, some for more than 30 days. Detainees who reached the AP, along with a relative and an attorney representing hunger strikers, said nearly 30 detainees from India and Cuba have been refusing to eat, and some are now so weak they cannot stand up or talk. Another four detainees are on hunger strikes in the agency's Miami, Phoenix, San Diego and San Francisco areas of responsibility, said ICE spokeswoman Leticia Zamarripa on Wednesday. The men say they stopped eating to protest verbal abuse and threats of deportation from guards. They are also upset about lengthy lockups while awaiting legal proceedings.

I know, I don’t get it. To me what they are doing with this hearing crap is giving priority to them over people who want to enter legally. These are not US citizens, the US is not a sanctuary for the entire world, these people are not refugees. If they were they wouldn’t be crossing multiple countries making a beeline straight to the US. Arrest them and IMMEDIATELY deport.

invader don’t want no food.. invader don’t get no food. I guess I never understood the reason for force-feeding hunger strikers; just let them die.
In an alternate reality, if you want to starve yourself to death, you should be allowed to do so.
That’s right. WHY are we wasting time, personnel, and money trying to force feed these criminal scum? Hunger strikes are just another form of a tantrum. I don’t hold with tantrums. If people declaring “I’m on a hunger strike to protest” didn’t receive even a backward glance’s worth of attention, there would be no point to them doing it and they’d stop. They have nothing to protest in the first place. They sneaked in here illegally, breaking our laws. We would be within our rights to shoot them. So long as they’re still breathing, they have nothing to complain about. Drop them from a plane back over “their country” (boy, did I ever get sick of that phrase out of the lips of foreign-born students—I used to ask them where are your feet NOW—THAT’S “your country”).
How ludicrous. You can bet this is multiplying the cost of housing these invaders by many times.
Which would seem to indicate the ***holes are lying when they say they are “refugees” demanding “asylum”. Take them out back and shoot them. That’s what they would do in Mexico.

Just wonder when they add the Handicapped, Elderly and the rest of us deplorables to the kill list.
HORRORS! Did we ask them to come here? Who invited them? Like inviting yourself for dinner at the neighbors and complain about the food they were serving.
Call your local democrat congress critter. They’re the ones who WANT you here. Don’t tell us your problems - just tell us where you want the body shipped.
Why force feed them? I never did that to my children. We need to offer them food, and if they are not hungry, they can eat the next meal . . . or not. Their dietary choices are not our problem.
