Since federal law bans late term or partial birth abortion, how can states pass laws allowing for same????

The partial birth abortion law was upheld by the Supreme Court.

So considering all of this, how can states ass such laws??

Here’s the problem as I see it today — EVEN IF WE OVERTURNED ROE vs WADE, what does it do?

Conservatives have been arguing that we have to leave it up to the states. Well there you go — NY and Virginia are but two of the states that have/will allow the killing of infants up tot he moment of birth ( in the case of Virginia, the governor, a Doctor, even discussed about leaving a baby to die AFTER birth if the mother decides that she does not what the baby ).

Overturning Roe vs Wade only gives power to the states to continue this abomination.

Partial birth abortion was as the name implies, the babies are partially out, then killed by the doctor using a sharp pair of scissors into the skull. In order to get around a law banning partial birth abortions, they are now killing the baby while still in the womb. A large needle of some kind of poison is inserted into the baby while still in utero to kill him or her, then delivery of a dead baby.
