If we built the Wall, we would need far less manpower to patrol the border. We could use those extra personnel to secure authorized border crossings. With 70,000 dead per year (more than all of Vietnam!), I’d call this a national emergency.

I wonder if has anything to do with all the fentanyl that’s been smuggled into the US over the last few years. It would be fairly easy to poison major water supplies downstream of treatment plants.

Fentanyl is elephant tranquilizer. The purest form is so toxic that just getting the dust on your hand is enough to cause and overdoes.
The killing 56 million quote is just the total weight of the bust divided by the amount needed to cause an overdose. In this case, that’s 2/1000th of a gram.
