I understand it’s our lovely pharmacist street gangs who are lacing the Mexican heroin with fentanyl. The Mexicans don’t want to kill off their client base but the gangs don’t give a rip.
The physical contact hazard of fentanyl is on par with anthrax.
I used to make Fentanyl in ampules and vials for anesthesia purposes.
Typical 1mL ampule of 50 micrograms per mL is more than enough for dosing two surgical procedures.
I remember a medical complaint where the anesthesiologist would save the unused portion from a procedure and dose himself later!
We would fill 120,000 amps in 8 hours.
I also helped develop the fentanyl sucker, used for infant pain management, elder care for terminal patients.
Narcotics have a place in pain management and just like ice cream, can be addictive and abused.
China now controls our drug supply. They copied or bought into recipes, then underprice-killed many of our companies, and they also make much of the base chemicals. Most of our militaty’s drugs are from China. And they make fentanyl, too.
China’s grip on and control of our drug supply is a national travesty. Gets little attention, though. Hmmm...

Here we go again. Demonization of fentanyl chic. The AR 15/AK 47 of pharmaceuticals. Conflating illegal street use with legitimate, compassionate medical use. Actually, it’s a wonderful painkiller and a godsend for millions of people in agony. It’s on the WHO list of essential medicines...those that are the safest and most effective. Due to the conflation watch for some filthy politicians to try and ban it’s medical and veterinary use.
No no no! Ya'll have got it all wrong! What the problem here is, see, is that there was not enough Narcan included with the fentynil to "bring back from the dead" all the people who might have been exposed to it.
You see, we, society at large, are supposed to be sure to always have Narcan upon our person, should someone we know or just find on the side of the road be overdosing. It is now up to society to rescue these dumb derps from themselves.
We're supposed to let them steal from us so they can get the drugs (Which, according to Queen Palousie, only come in thru approved border crossings) and then we are supposed to look the other way when the deal is going down, and THEN we get involved, when it's time to save their lives.
Who gets to answer the question about how much is a life worth? How many times should we allow someone to OD and bring them back with Narcan before we say "Sorry, can't afford the Narcan". Oh, and you can buy the Narcan at the pharmacy...no script required. Just like the Fentynil and heroin!!!

Let me take this opportunity to thank you in advance, I'm sure I'll be using your development in the future. Except...are we still making fentynil in the US? I thought the .gov said it's bad bad bad and we can not have it for any purpose (because, you know, the government and the insurance companies are so worried that they might create an addict by easing a terminal patient's pain, LOL!)
My wife uses it from time to time on her patients in the OR. Says it’s potent stuff and only wants to use it for very looooong surgeries.
She also says that anesthesiologists ALWAYS get caught within six months when they start “getting high on their own supply”. They end up stealing more and more from the patients and it gets noticed.
The part that never made sense to me is once the anesthesiologists check out their narc’s; at the end of the days they get a witness and just get rid of the excess, opened or not; they get dumped.
