Young Pioneers.
“...only the boys who act like girls”
Seems to be more of those all the time.
Moms are making sure...
Girls who join Scouts BSA will “learn from the same program, earn the same merit badges and achieve the same advancements that boys have earned for nearly 109 years in the Boy Scout program
#####
What exactly are they saying here? That the Boy Scout program is the more superior program?
“the first choice for girls and parents who want to provide their girls opportunities to build new skills”
LOL, yet somehow our Cub Scouts developed a whole new den last year of girls.
And arm bands with badges....
“Will boys want to join?”
Depends on the motive.
Now it's "Scouting For Boys."
Human Scouts
Scouting for Humans
Another organization ruined. When will women learn they can still do the same things as boy scouts without being in their group. The whole thing is ridiculous....and disgusting.
First “sexual harassment” charge against a boy at a “Boy” Scout meeting called in 5...4...3...2..
It is actually.
Even today. Despite the pix on the cookie boxes.
We have friends with girls (some mixed, some only) who have had them in GS and they said everything was boring with very “prissy” and frou-frou girl stuff. Hilarious that these feminist lesbos want to tell us all girls can be and to get us “out of the ‘50s” - but basically that what they do.
Lots of us girls don’t like that. Or, at least, let it be only 50% of the goals, along with other useful survival skills.
They’d have to develop a new group.
Seems that most “girl” orgs are still stuck in those ‘50s they hate so much, doing scrapbooks and cooking and sewing.
Hey! Maybe that was a curious way to counter the homo problem!
Very cunning, BSA!
They have separate dens/patrols who do things separately.
But they can meet for the total Pack/Troop meeting.
My son was in the Canadian subset of the Cub Scouts, the Beaver Scouts. They should have no trouble, given the name, of integrating girls if they choose.
“But while some girls are excited to join the boys, the change complicates the already-strained relationship between the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America. “Girl Scouts is the premier leadership development organization for girls,” said Sylvia Acevedo, the Girl Scouts’ CEO. “We are, and will remain, the first choice for girls and parents who want to provide their girls opportunities to build new skills ... and grow into happy, successful, civically engaged adults.””
Can boys join the Girl Scouts?
Most men I know are good cooks.
Worst campfire experience....tried cooking spaghetti on a campfire. It was spaghetti goop. My kids still laugh about it.....at me...
So the “packs” will be separate...All boys in one pack and all girls in one pack???
